            The prime objective of the Bioinformatics centre being grooming bioinformatics human resource and imparting bioinformatics knowledge among life science reserchers, we constantly organizing National workshops, guest lectures and training programs every year.

National Workshops Organized

1. National workshop on Drug designing from 24th-26th April 2008. Total of 54 participants attanded from all over India and enlightened themselves by scholary talks from Prof. P. Gautam, Anna University, Chennai; Prof. S. Ramakumar, Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore; Dr. K. Guruprasad, CCMB, Hyderabad and Dr. G.N.S. Sastry, IICT, Hyderabad. Hands on sessions and commercial software package demonastration on drug designing made the workshop a success.

Guest Lectures organized

1. A Guest Lecture on Computer aided drug design is delivered by Prasad V. Bharatam, Coordinator, NIPER, Pune. on 23rd Dec. 2008
